And the winner is.........

Drum roll please.........

Nifty Knits

Apologies for the picture......a huge thank you to all who entered and to my lovely son for picking the winner.
Nifty I will be in touch to ask what you would like as your prize and in which colour.

And the winner of the facebook/blog follower giveaway is.........
Leanne Woods.
I added all the followers from each site up - 189 in total and utilised the good old random number generator. For the life of me I cannot work out how to copy and paste the random number integer -sorry - but it was Leanne's number that came up.
Again I will be in touch to get your address so I can send you your prize.
I just want to add a huge thank you to you all for your continued support of Beady Pool and for being here to be entered.

Less than 24hrs to go.....

Till we pick a winner for the fantastic Beady Pool giveaway. You can win either this gorgeous necklace in a colour of your choice.

Or the earrings from the same range with a matching bracelet or a pendant along the same theme.
So, I hear you say "what do I have to do to enter?"
Well, look at my website or folksy shop, decide which is your favourite item and leave a comment here or on on the Beady Pool fanpage on facebook.
You can get another entry by getting a friend to sign up as a fan of either this blog or the facebook page. Don't forget to let me know that they are your friend!
Finally, I realised I was ignoring my die hard followers both on here and facebook. Well, if you are a fan of either you can have an entry into another, yes that's another draw. This will be to win a matching bracelet and earrings set. All you have to do is what you are already doing just being here supporting Beady Pool.
Blimey I must still be recovering from my hols to be this generous.
Don't forget there are less than 24hrs to enter - what are you waiting for? Good luck.

An the winner is....

Moira.
I can't work out how to show the random number generator thingy I used but I did use one. It came up with the number 10 and Moira was the 10th person to sign up to Beady Pool's facebook page.
The Flow pendant will be on it's way to you early next week. Thanks to all who have signed up and become fans of Beady Pool already. If you haven't, what are you waiting for? If we get near 100 I may just do another little giveaway.

Facebook freebie

Beady Pool now has a facebook page .
I am planning on uploading new photographs onto the Beady Pool page regularly as well as doing a few beady giveaways.
Here is the first, a gorgeous pendant featuring a teal green lampwork bead, turquoise stone rondelles and a sterling silver bicone. The pendant comes supplied with either a 16 or 18inch Sterling Silver snake chain.

If you fancy winning this gorgeous pendant all you have to do is go to the Beady Pool facebook page and become a fan - when Beady Pool has 50 fans then I will put those 50 names into a hat and pick a winner - simple as that. If it goes well I may do another at 100........

And the winner is......

Sorry I am a bit late with this for those who are waiting with baited breath.
The winner is Jude with "Holst".
The "funky" pendant is on its way to you in the post.
I have to say a fair few of you came up with spacey themed names, which was where my ideas were headed. At least my namings are therefore not too far fetched and I am on someone elses wavelength, which is always nice to know.
I will do at least one other naming giveaway before Christmas, so watch this space.

Housekeeping giveway

Each time I make a new peice of jewellery, I swear to myself that I will do all the necessary "housekeeping" with it straight away so I don't panic later. What I mean is that I will get my lovely BH to photograph it, I will price it, spreadsheet it, label it ready for a sale, upload it onto the website etc etc. However, despite good resolutions this very rarely happens.
So this evening, sees me once again printing and sticking in my studio getting ready for a jewellery sale. Great you say, fantastic news. Well, it is. What isn't is the fact that because I haven't done my "housekeeping" along the way it could be a very long night.
I have however managed to come up with names and prices all my items, except this one. I uploaded this onto Flickr a while ago and I still haven't come up with a name.
So, the question is - What do you think it should be called? The lampwork is by the very talented Isabelle Anderson and features both round and saucer beads in a clear blue. The saucers are decorated in silver around the rim and the round beads have an organic inspired core. I've completed the set with Hilltribe Silver and Czech glass.
To reward you for your fab ideas, I will ask my BH half to choose the name he thinks suits the set the best. The winner will then receive "Funky". A pendant made with lampwork by Angie Finn complete with a sterling silver snake chain.

Funky

You have until Tues evening at 8pm, after which I will attempt to get straight online an post the winners name. You can either leave you idea as a comment here on my blog or email me. I can't wait to see your ideas.

Drum Roll Please.....

Apologies for posting a bit later than I said I would, but I have been out helping my physics lab tech, from when I used to teach, celebrate her retirement. It was a lovely evening catching up with people I haven't seen in ages and also a bit scary as I realsied it is about 8 yrs since I started teaching and about 4 since I was last employed as a teacher! Where has all that time gone? It has just flown by.
Anyway onto the more important part of the evening. Drum roll please.......
And the winner is (as picked by my BH - thank you)......Pacific Peace, named by K Jacklin. Your bracelet is on its way to you tomorrow.
Thank you all for your super suggestions, I think I may have to do this again in a month or so. I really enjoyed reading all your ideas.
